About the Project
The PHU Impex project involved creating a modern data layer integrating legacy systems (based on SQL Server) with modern cloud tools (Airtable, BigQuery). The goal was to streamline financial and accounting processes and enable advanced business analytics.
The system works bidirectionally: it pulls data from ERP systems into Airtable, where employees can easily edit and supplement it, then synchronizes changes back to the SQL database and transfers them to the BigQuery data warehouse for Power BI reporting.
Challenges
The main challenge was ensuring data consistency with high transaction volumes and handling the client's specific business rules. Advanced error logging and data validation mechanisms were implemented.
